INT. HOUSE - MOMENTS LATER
Hamid walks in, dressed in his uniform. Nasrin is sitting down reading the Quran, there is a samovar on the floor and Hamid sits down and joins his mother. A general malaise can be felt in the room, it's quiet as Hamid eats his breakfast of bread and feta cheese.
He finishes his breakfast and gets up. Hamid walks towards the front door with Nasrin behind him. Just as he reaches the door, Hamid turns towards her with tears filling his eyes.
Nasrin kisses Hamid on the forehead and then Hamid turns and opens the door. Hamid walks out the door to the empty street.
